My name is Andrea and I am in search of information regarding my Dad’s biological mother. Her name, we believe, was Elizabeth Henry and she most likely was born in the 1890’s. My Dad, Kenneth Otto Dorrell, was born May 17, 1918. His biological mother (Elizabeth) gave him up for adoption in Indianapolis and he was adopted by George O Dorrell and Grace M Dorrell who raised him. I know nothing other than Elizabeth’s name (or at least this is the name passed down to us over time) but would very greatly appreciate ANY information you may have regarding his adoption, records, etc. My Dad passed away in 1992 and I’ve hit road block after road block in search of any information pertaining to his biological family prior to his birth.
