I was looking through my family records and found handwritten note on a Henry‚ New castle‚ Indiana court clerk to my Grandmother. it reads "she was adopted April 19‚1941 by Willard Garner. The reason I ask is I have searched over 5 years for my Dad’s records prior to 1944 and find nothing. There is a story but I have found nothing to confirm it ‚ not even a birth certificate. He had a sister. I am thinking it is possible that he‚ his brother and him a possibility of adoption after being put in orphange when he was 9. Still I have found nothing to confirm anything.I never met his family
