My daughter was born on Saturday, May,1st,1976 in South Bend, Indiana. She was born at Memorial Hospital around 5:00 P.M. The birth parent names on the birth certificate would be Lynn A. Radecki age 17, and Brian Mabry age19, both of South Bend, IN. This was a private adoption that involved an attorney who’s name is James Korpal. His office address is 704 W. Washington St. South Bend, IN. All medical costs were provided by the adopted parents. I was contacted by this attorney through mail at the school I was teaching at in the early 1990’s. At that time my daughter was sick and they needed a family history of medical problems from myself and her father. I provided the information and spoke with her doctor. Dr. Houser delivered my baby. She weighed 7pounds and 1oz. She was born with lots of black curly hair. My daughter stayed in the hospital for 5 days due to jaundice. I signed the adoption papers on May,2nd,1976 and adoption papers were sent to her dad in Colorado. After five days in the hospital I had to carrying my baby to the street and the attorney’s secretary took the baby. I think the adopted parents lived close to South Bend. People would comment to me about a girl that looked just like me that went to Mishawaka High School, located in Mishawaka, IN. I did contact the attorney’s office in July of 1996, for information about my daughter. His response was if you prayed hard enough you will find her. I hope this information I have provided will help me find my daughter.
