My mom was adopted by Rosie Lee Derrick and Earl Edward Derrick in Fort Wayne Indiana (Indiana)‚ her adopted mother told her she was adopted after her and adopted father divorced‚ she just told her at 10 years old and never spoke on it again leaving my mom heartbroken.My mom who’s name is Rose Derrick (her adopted name) saw a adoption certificate with Infant girl Jill on it .. I recently took a dna and family pop up I’ve never met it was her biological family as we searched to figure this out not knowing who gave up a child.. my mom can’t take a dna at this time as she is getting older now in her 70s I’m fighting so hard to at least get a name of her mother for closure.. She was born June 21‚ 1955‚ in Indiana‚ Fort Wayne or surrounding area .. My adopted grandmother was devastated by her divorce and she used that hurt to hurt my mom by telling her she was adopted but not disclosing any other information she passed away and still held information
