I am looking for my birth mother‚ born approx. 1942 in Indianapolis‚ IN. Her name at the time of my adoption was Jacquelyn Ann Cook. She named me Rebecca Jean Cook. My adoption was handled through the Suemma Coleman Home. She was adopted by her foster family at the age of 4‚ and was a Seventh Day Adventist. My birth family was involved with horses‚ and my "alleged" father was a horse dealer. She joined the Air Force after my adoption. In the late 1980s‚ a friend was stationed at Chanute AFB in Illinois and she said she saw an older woman who looked like me. Exactly like me - only older. I am seventeen years younger than my mother. William E. Roberts was the attorney who handled my adoption through Suemma Coleman.
