I have exhausted every known resource I know of trying to reach out to the wonderful family that adopted my son Carter Wayne (Oakley). DCS/CPS were unable to help me contact the family since my case was under the supervision of employees who no longer work in the system‚ so they couldn’t help me. I believe Val was his new mother’s name‚ but my phone was broke about 6 years ago with all my saved info on Carter’s family as well as any communication between my caseworker. Carter Wayne Oakley is his birth name. Born in Bloomington Indiana 8/9/14 by Siera Blendin & Tate Oakley. After I became homeless I signed over temporary custody to Tate’s sister Portia and her husband Alex Snoody where they lived in Bedford‚ Indiana until Portia had her second child and gave Carter up for adoption (to a couple who had been by my biological son’s side when I wasn’t able to be). Last visit was at Bloomington library‚ early January 2016.. I just pray this finds you soon‚ I’ll never stop looking for my missing piece. I take some comfort in knowing you’re in a stable home with parents that you love‚ that love you as their own. I love you baby. Untill we meet again. Siera
