Looking for my birth parents. I was born on Janaury 15, 1959, I am a female, My adoption was done through the Vanderburgh County Indiana Welfare Dept. My adoptive parents got me approximately mid-February 1959 at about 4 weeks of age. My parents used a relative as the attorney of record, he was Otis B. Allyn of Mt. Vernon Indiana. Both he and my adoptive parents are all now deceased. I was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville Indiana. Birth Mother was Barbara Ann Bateman she was 17 at my birth. I was given the name Aretha Kay Bateman at birth.
