My grandmother Helen was adopted by Alice Croasman and William Worthington Harder. The adoption was recorded in Family lore to have taken place in Portland‚ Oregon. My Mom mentioned at one time possibly my grandmother’s birth family was from Indiana. Her adopted father was Canadian and I am pondering she may have been adopted from her adopted father’s family.
