Hello my name is Karie Price (Smith). On March 23rd 1990 I was born in Laporte Indiana to my birth mother who had been placed into a boarding school by her parents due to being pregnant with me (I understand this is the story that my adopted parents told me and could be incorrect). I was told she was 15 at the time of conception and 16 at my birth. The adoption was handled and finalized prior to my birth and after the required 3 day hospital procedure post birth was completed I was picked up and taken to my new forever home with Michael and Marsha Smith(Gard) in Highland county‚ Hillsboro Ohio. I was told the lawyers who handled the paperwork were Judkins & Hayes a law firm located in Greenfield Ohio. Both of my adopted parents have long since passed. My dad September 19‚ 2013 and shortly thereafter my mom March 24th 2014. I’m wanting to try and make contact with my birth mother if that’s possible. Contact me
