I was born in Moultrie, Georgia, in Colquitt County. I believe the hospital that I was born in was Colquitt Regional Medical Center, but am not totally sure. The doctor that delivered me is Dr. Kenneth Copeland, who was a friend to my parents, Samuel M and Linda L Durham, who lived in Madison, Indiana (also Cross Plains and Versailles in Indiana). My birth mother lived with her grandmother at the time of my birth and took an ambulance to the hospital. We were told that the birth parents were both in high school at the time of my birth (1980), so they would have been between 16-18 years old.
