I was adopted from Suemma Coleman Home in 1967. I weighed 6 and a half pounds when I was born. I was born at Marion County General Hospital on December 3, 1967, and my adoptive parents took me home with them on December 8, 1967. My name was Virginia Ann, and my mother was 16 when I was born. Both of my biological grandfathers died in their early 40’s. I know nothing of my birth father other than he was older than my mother. Elizabeth Hughes was the woman at Suemma Coleman that my adoptive parents dealt with. I have a copy of the adoption contract.
