I was adopted at only 3days old from St. Margaret’s hospital in Hammond Indiana on May 29, 1985. My adoptive parents’ lawyer picked me up from the hospital from my birth mother and took me straight to my adoptive parents on June 1, 1985. I was told that my birth mother’s name is Patricia and that I have 2 siblings. One sibling is a girl an the other a boy and i was also told one is younger than me as well as one being older but I have no idea which is which. My adoptive parents’ told me that my birth mother went to the same church as they did before the adopton took place and that was how they came to adopt me. My parents’ said all they were required to pay was for the prenatal vitamins . My adoptive parents tried for 10 years to get pregnant after numerous miscarriages and finally turned to adoption but when i turned 6 months old they found out they were finally pregnant with my sister who is only 16 months younger than me.
