I gave my son up for adoption in 1978. I am not entirely sure of my son’s exact date of birth.. He was born at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. I have loved him from afar all of his life. I never had a chance to hold my son. He was taken away from me at the hospital on the day he was born. I was under a great deal of pressure from my parents to adopt since I was young with no job no means of caring for a child. I just want to know that my son was raised in a loving home and to let him know that I felt I had no other choice. My son was adopted to another family through and agency called at the time, the Suema Coleman agency. The the adoption agency was located at the inter-church foundation Building near Butler University campus in Indianapolis
