The person I am searching for is my full blood brother. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on or around December 11th, 1958-1959. He was born to Beverly Britton Yates and adopted at birth. Back then, it was common to just put the new parents on the birth certificate. I am not sure if this was done or not. My mother was divorced at the time from our father and he was never aware of the birth. I was never aware of this birth until my mother was dying. She told me of the birth of my brother but destroyed details that would have helped locate him. She gave him up to have a better life than she could give him as a single mother with two children. My older brother died in 1988 as a result of a murder. You can imagine my joy to know that I had another sibling but also the frustration at not knowing where or what name he goes by. Please let me know where you are! I only want to know you and share any unanswered questions you may have regarding your birth family. Thank you! Can’t wait to meet you!!!
