Met Rebecca Bear my cousin who lives in Juneau Alaska. I have not ben able to reach her since the original contact. My birth parents are both deceased. There names are Norman Oscar Hewitt and Gertrude Wharton. Both dies in Chicago Illinois. I have made several attempts to the Indiana Adoption Registry but they say they have no record of my original birth certificate. I was told that they original birth certificate exist somewhere but perhaps the adoption was not done properly and my original birth certificate was never filed.
