My mom says she did a state adoption with her first child in Indiana. She was 17. I do know he was born in July of 1971 to Nancy Lee Arnold (now Benge) (dob 4/26/54) at either St. Vincents‚ or Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana. His father’s name is Patrick McClain but he was not present at the birth so he’s probably not on the birth certificate. He resided in Arizona where my mom grew up. My mom didn’t even hold him and did not know the family he went to. She has finally given me her blessing to look for him but this is all she remembers and I don’t even know where to start.
