My Father was adopted in 1926-28 . His birth mother was Viola Willoughby "Wade "‚ she got married never knowing the solider only bye writing he never left the hospital and died . Forrest Orval Bales and Jeanette " Pein" Bales adopted my Father. But I believe Robert Smyrl Pein was the true Father‚ Jeanette adopted her brothers child from a none committed or desired incounter. Viola was 13 at time of pregnancy and 14 at my Fathers Birth. I did met her once upon my visit she told me this . So please help me with this situation‚ is it possible I can get a copy of his birth record. It maybe she wasn’t the Mother and another cover up. My name is Joan Bales my Father passed in 1982 and Viola in 1984‚ I have tried so hard to get anything even about his adoption.
