Hello‚ in 2013 my son who was 7 at the time was sent up for a visit to his dad's for summer up in indiana. He was suppose to be sent back before the new school year started in Florida where I lived. He was not sent back and his father kept him. He took me to court for full custody during that summer and lied in court. He was granted full custody of our son. His father was a alcoholic and drug addict and had just got out of rehab when he was granted custody of our son. I have never been in trouble with the law‚ not even now. He lived with his father for a year or so then was taken from his father after his father almost killed him after a drunk episode. His father and his father's parents lied and said I was not in the picture. I had been in contact the whole time‚ but was never informed of what was going on. My son Gavin was given to his father's parents. I tried to get Gavin back‚ but Indiana refused to work with dcf in Florida to do a reunion and the judge never enforced even though she ordered it. His grandparents were able to adopt Gavin even though they lied the whole time as well. Two years ago a young man claiming to be Gavin got in contact with me then stopped. I never met the person. He told me his grandparents would pass him around between his father and their house when they would get tired of him. They would only want him back when the state would claim they would stop taking the check they got for him if they found out he wasn't living with them. Also the judged order Gavin was not allowed to be with his father‚ but his grandparents let him live with his father. About 10 years ago I did try to get a lawyer but the lawyer dropped out. He told me that the state of Indiana had been corrupted by illegal adoptions and he wasn't gonna get involved with this and basically fired himself.
