I was told I was adopted within 3 days of my birth and was from northern Indiana my grandparents were of Norwegian/ Scandinavian background and my grandfather was over 6’ in height. Adoption was handled through a law firm in Bloomington Indiana it was a closed adoption.I contacted the lawyer after I turned 18 and he would not provide any information at all would not even talk about it very short with me and said he couldn’t help me. Since then it has always been in the back of my mind and now that I am older I think about it more than when I was young. I have recently done the AncestryDNA test and am waiting for results. Hopefully I will eventually find something out about my birth family.
