I am searching for the extended birth family of William Bert Middleton (adopted name). I believe he was born 05/28/1928 to Joseph and Iola Noel in Chicago, Illinois, who had three older children: Iola, Genevieve, and Joseph Jr. Both parents and the three older children died of carbon monoxide poisoning on June 24, 1928. Their month-old baby was at Michael Reese hospital when the deaths of his immediate family occurred. Baby Noel was adopted by Albert and Venita Middleton of Indiana and named William Bert Middleton, who was my father in law.
