It is very likely that my mother gave birth to and relinquished a daughter in about 1933. I believe this may have been in Champaign, Illinois, but could also have taken place in Indiana. My mother’s maiden name was Helen Kuykendall. She would have been about 17 years old at the time. I have reason to believe that this was an in family adoption.
