My sister Kimberly Jackson was given up for adoption by my mom Gearldine Jackson Pruitt. She was born in East St Louis, IL at Christian Welfare hospital in 1967 or 1968. The family that adopted her lived in Jefferson city, MO at the time. This was an open adoption and my mom stayed in communication with the family until she was about 7 or 8. There has been no contact since.
