My birth certificate states my DOB as Jan, 24, 1968 at 11:20 AM (somewhere in Chicago). I was adopted as a baby. I’ve had my DNA tested on My Heritage and Ancestry. This weekend, my biological father popped up on Ancestry. His last name is Robbins. I have not made contact and still have no information on my biological mother, other than that she was Jewish. I was adopted by a Jewish family named Sumner, through an attorney named Tierney. No one had ever told me that I’m adopted. After a DNA test, I became suspicious and this past weekend it was confirmed that I was adopted. My father passed away two years ago and my mother this weekend. May she rest in peace. I am not looking for a new family, or to insert myself into anyone’s life. I would just like to know why I look like. I’d like to know what I have in common with my biological parents. I’d like health info. I hope that you both are still living.
