I attempted to get a social security card replacement. I was asked what was my parents maiden name, and when I gave them the name, it was incorrect. So I was confused. And then she asked me was I adopted. I told her no! Well, apparently I was adopted because on the original birth certificate, the maiden name was of my grand-mother. Just trying to find out if I was adopted.
