I am searching on behalf of my adopted brother‚ Nicholas Anthony Mas. We know at the time of his adoption‚ his birth mother had an older daughter who was maybe 2 at the time. Her name was Alex‚ and I believe she is Nicholas's bio half-sister. The adoption was open‚ but the last meet up was when my brother was 2 or 3. Around that time‚ our parents were contacted by Nicholas's birth mother‚ informing them of another pregnancy‚ and asking if my parents wanted to adopt the baby. My parents agreed‚ but were not contacted after that. Around 2011‚ Nicholas spoke with his birth grandmother on the phone. At the time‚ Nicholas's older bio half-sister was living with their bio grandma‚ and his younger bio half-sister was living with their bio uncle. Nicholas's birth mother's name might have been Carrie Lemke. According to his birth grandma when they spoke 15 years ago‚ his birth mother was in jail for accomplice to voluntary manslaughter. We are unsure of Nicholas's birth father's name or whereabouts‚ but we believe he has multiple other children who would be Nicholas's half-siblings.
