I’m trying to reach my son who was adopted in 1970, probably born on March 21. I’m told the adoptive parents lived in north Chicago couldn’t have children of their own, and the adoptive father I understand may have been a lawyer (although all that may have been made up to make the mother feel better). I’m the birth father and didn’t know until recently that I had a son. The pregnancy was the result of a high school love affair but the birth mother had moved from Tulsa to Chicago and gave the baby up for adoption (I believe via the Salvation Army Booth home there). After 50 years I recently was able to track down the birth mother and found out about the child, and would love to be in contact as well as reunite him with his mother (who is wonderful woman). We were too young to raise a child.
