I am searching for my daughter born august 30 1988 at Humana hospital in hoffman estates Illinois. 6 lb 7 oz auburn hair adopted thru "open" adoption directed by Crossroads health clinic out of Palatine. The actual adoption took place in a Chicago attorney office. I was told the adopting parents were involved in the medical field and volunteered for March of dimes. They already had one little girl age 3 that they adopted. But, this was all new “open” adoption so they could’ve told me anything. Once they had my child and it was time for a 6 month update they stopped contact with me for no reason.
