Hi‚ I’m Joan Richter - my maiden name is Joan Marie Brzycki. (I think my birth parents gave me the name Donna.) I was born in Chicago on July 7‚ 1967‚ and was adopted from Catholic Charities when I was a baby (I think around 5 weeks old). My adoptive parents were Eugene (Gene) and Eleanore Brzycki. They lived at the timeframe in Midlothian IL. They were both Polish‚ and from what I’ve learned‚ my birth parents were also both Polish. They worked together‚ and they enjoyed bowling‚ but he was married and had a son and a daughter at that time (so I have half-siblings!). Fortunately they gave me up for adoption.
