I was born March 8,1969...Lots of black hair as a baby /brown eyes / 8 lb baby girl - adopted from Lake Bluff Children’s Home . IL approx a month after birth . I was told my birth mother was 15. Adopted by 2 teachers who had 2 adopted sons . They picked me up April 11. I have just received my original birth certificate. It has my mothers name and my name pre-adoption. I was named Shannon by my birth mother, whose initials were CMP. She was actually 16 when I was born and a resident of Chicago, IL. 2020 Update- found Candace ( mom) deceased. still looking for father-possibly named Michael Conrad.
