Seeking paternal grandmother born Oct 29, 1891 to Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Walton born 1867, who with older daughter Maggie and baby Maud entered the Livingston Co., IL Poor Farm in 1891. Their entry was authorized by township supervisor of Reading Twp., Livingston Co., IL. In 1892 Maud was given up by Lizzie for adoption to John and Sara (Umphenour) Welch of Ocoya, Livingston Co. Shortly thereafter, Lizzie and Maggie were discharged and vanished. Maud in 1908 married Joseph Lightholder of Pontiac, Livingston Co., IL, but divorced around 1915. She moved to Springfield, Joe moved to Chicago. Maud led an interesting life in Springfield, dying there in November 1963.
