I am looking for an adopted person born in Illinois. My grandmother‚ Carolyn Amelia (Beaudry) McVay Keller‚ was born on 5/2/1918 in Wisconsin. She gave birth to a child prior to my father’s birth in 1944. I believe Carolyn may have been young‚ possibly 17 (which would put date of birth around 1935 or 1936) because she quit high school in Wisconsin and moved to Chicago‚ Illinois or near there (possibly Waukegan) where her relative and best friend Josephine Baumgartner lived. My grandmother married Donald Ross McVay on 2/17/1942 in Illinois. I am uncertain if the father of the child was McVay or not.
