I want to find my birth father. I waa born in illini hospital in silvis illinois om aug 16‚ 1972 and adopted thru Bethany adoptiom agency but could not be placed with my adoptive family for approx 6 weeks until my biologocal fatherwho was listed at birth signed over his parental rights per the illinois law fhat was put into effect in 1970. Because of this i was temporarily placed in foster care. My biologocal mothets name is jeannie Severin not sure if thats het maiden name but she is from Monmouth Illinois area. She was around 18 when she had me. I met her but she refusss to share any info about my birth father. She said its too painful. Im beginning to think she may have been unsure who myfather was and listed a possible cadidate as my birth father. I want to find him and have been searching for over 15 years.
