Birth parents : Frederick Warren Vashow & Marion Janet Vashow His age 23, her age 17, in 1953. Adopted parents Clifford Robert Schiefelbein & Renell Lillian Schiefelbein resided in Lyons, Il. So did adopted mother. She lived at 5101 Prescott Ave. Lyons,Il. Just a few blocks from my adopted Mom & Dad. I was born at Oak Park Hospita[. Oak Park, Il. I didn’t find out I was adopted till I was 47. Well kept family secret! Birth Father was in Airman in the U.S.A. Air Force from New York. I hired a man who found my adoption in the legal paper.That’s how I got the Mother’s name. Then 12 years or so the birth records in Illinois opened up. I sent away for my Birth Certificate that’s how I got all this information. I think Mother could have been from Michigan ? Was another Vashow in Chicago. But couldn’t find Mother. Called a lot of vashow’s! No luck!
