According to my birth certificate which is of Dayton Tennessee my name is Angela Dawn Patterson. And according to the birth certificate I was born March the 21st of 1976. Yet my social does not match to my birth certificate state. I wasn’t issued a social security number until I was 3 years of age from Savannah Illinois. At this point I could have been adopted in other state I don’t really know. Which from what I found out is one of two scenarios. I was either an overseas birth or the adopted parents chose to keep the social of the original birth state and just changed everything up on this certificate of birth. Any family that could have told me anything has passed. Before they passed whenever the subject was brought up I was quickly directed toward other subjects. Can somebody please help guide me in the right direction of what to do next? Desperately need to know.
