I know my mom had my half brother either in 1976‚ 1977‚ or 1978. I am pretty sure I was 6 when she had him and gave him up for adoption right away. It was an open adoption with the Athens Illinois Christian Church. My mom and I have an amazing relationship and spend time together as much as these times allow us. I live in Fruitland Park‚ FL with my girlfriend of 10 years‚ Mary. Growing up with my father in Missoula‚ MT as an only child was not always the best thing but I survived and have a great life however always knowing in the back of my mind that I have a brother somewhere out there in the world is something I am no longer willing to accept without trying to connect.
