I am searching for my older brother that I never knew existed until last week. He was born October 13‚ 1964 at OSF St Francis Hospital in Peoria‚ IL. We have the same mother. Her name is Helen Jean Wadas Her maiden name at the time he was born was Kowalczyck. She was staying with the nuns at the Mother Cabrini House for for unwed mothers in Peoria‚ IL. She was only 20 and was made to go there by her parents. Her BD is 7/20/1944. I have her permission to look for my half brother now. She never wanted to give him up‚ but she had no choice. She and him would have been out on the street. She just turned 80 in July. She has some health problems that are genetic and I would like to let my brother know about them.She never got to hold him‚ just look at him for 5 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.
