My mother never told me the name of my biological father. I know I was adopted in 1962 by my father. I was born in Blue Island‚ IL in Cook County Hospital. Both my mother and father have passed so no one can be hurt by me getting the information. My mother’s maiden name was Janice Garnett. I called once and they said I needed a judge to sign to see my original birth certificate. I have taken the 23 & me. And AncestryDNA with no luck. I have the name Hodgkiss from one of my moms old friends but that is about it.
