I did not know I was adopted until age 45. My adopted parents took extreme measures to hide it. I don’t know much about my birth parents, it would mean so much to me to find them. I had no siblings, it would be a huge gift to find out I am not alone in the world! I am not asking for anything more than the chance to know who I am and where I came from. This is what I know I was born to Victoria Pawlowski (possibly Vellis) on 4/24/1964. She was 15 or 16 years old. I was born at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, IL. The adoption was probably arranged or assisted by the Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago, IL. My birth mother might have lived on Agatite Street in Chicago. I know absolutely nothing about my birth father. My original birth certificate said he was 19 years old and deceased, which I find highly unlikely! My birthmother’s last name was either Vellis or Pawlowski. It is possible Pawlowski was her stepfathers last name. I was Baby Girl Pawlowski on my original birth certificate.
