My birth name is Baby Girl Lane and mother is Virginia Morrison or Virginia Lane from Ohio age 36 at the time of my birth so born about 1913. Found my birth sister through the IL registry but we do not have the same father and our mother is deceased. I was born 7/8/49 at Michael Reese Hospital and adopted right from the hospital. My father was almost certainly Jewish and my mother lived in Hyde Park on VCornell Ave at the time of my birth and on 61st and Kimbark in 1952 at the time of my sisters birth. Both our fathers info has been withheld so we have no idea about who he is or was but he was almost certainly Jewish in my case and probably not in my sisters case. Both our birth certificates show our last name as Lane and mine says illegitimate. Ancestry led me to some paternal cousins but if anyone knew my mother or my father i would like to know more. It appears our mother lost a child between my birth ad her birth in July of 1952.
