I’m looking for my mother‘s real parents‚ that would be my maternal grandparents. My mother was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Lester Tempe from Chicago‚ Illinois. My mother was adopted around the age of three or four from St. Vincent de Paul orphanage in Chicago. Before my mother passed I have her DNA from ancestry.com. As far as we know‚ she had a sister that was adopted first by the Tempe. She died of pneumonia and then they came back for my mother. Mary Ann Tempe was her adopted name. She thinks her orginal name was Anne Lori Higgens real name. I would really love to know what happened to my mother‘s parents my grandparents. We think her mother died of TB and we have no idea what happened to her father. She was about three or four when she was adopted not exactly sure if she was born in Chicago. It could’ve been Wisconsin.
