My mom (Deborah Darlene Millsaps) was an unwed teen when her step dad took her approximately 2 year son (Charlie) to the Health and Human Services office in Chicago and said he hold the workers they couldn't afford to care for him. The family returned to the Chattanooga‚TN shortly afterwards where life returned to as normal as it ever had been. Deborah passed away around 2001 from AIDS that contracted from a blood transfusion she received after having a car accident. Billy is alone in the world when it comes to blood kin. But‚ as Deborah became bed ridden and often slept from 12-24 hours at a time. During her woke time she filled Billy in on as much as possible about what she knew. Please the help me!
