My Grandmother recently passed and from that we have learned when she was between the ages of 15-20(not exactly sure)‚ she gave birth to a child and gave it up. We have very littler information other than the child would’ve been born in the Chicagoland area sometime between 1950-1965ish. My grandmothers name was Barbara J Smith although as much of her past is unknown it is possible she went by a different last name and there most likely isn’t a father listed on the birth certificate.
