I was born in Cook County hospital and adopted through a Lutheran adoption agency (I don’t remember the name) within a month of my birth. I checked with that adoption agency in 1996 and they had had a fire where they lost all their records. I am (supposedly) of German Irish descent. My parents would presumably be around retirement age now and I’d like to find out more about them and any siblings or extended family I may have
