My grandfather passed away 3 years ago and we have discovered some information that he was adopted possibly at birth. We know that he was born and given the name Lawrence Walker and he was adopted by Dwight and Alice Shaff, and his name was changed to James Dwight Shaff. I have recently started my ancestry, and sent in my dna. i would love to find out more about his adoption for our family tree.
