My sister gave birth to my niece Madelynn on March 16th‚ 2016. With them living in Illinois‚ my father (Madelynn’s grandfather) and I relied solely on my sister’s updates via text and Facebook pertaining to how Madelynn was growing up. Little did we know‚ she had chosen to leave my dad and I in the dark about the kind of situations she put herself in. There were arrests with claims of drug abuse‚ and before we had a say in the situation‚ it had already unfolded and Madelynn was sent somewhere safe. I pray she is living her best life and there’s nothing we’d want more‚ but it’s becoming more clear as we move forward that my Dad won’t get to see his granddaughter before he passes‚ and Madelynn won’t see her papa. I’ll fight for the opportunity for them to meet once again! They were living in Marengo‚ Illinois at the time. I don’t have nearly enough information as I should because of all the lies and deceit.
