I was born at the Cook County Hospital in Evanston Illinois on February 4, 1965 at 4:39 pm and only weighed 3 lbs. 15oz after a hard labor "single footling" (breech). I arrived at "The Cradle Society" located 2049 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, Illinois 60201 on February 22, 1965, where they assigned me the name George. Per the Cradle Society, my birthmother was a very young 19 years of age and my birth father was 27 years of age. My birthmother was shorter, reddish hair, fair skin. My birth father was supposedly on the taller side with dark hair and worked at a family "Tree Nursery" business. I was adopted on June 10, 1965. Not positive or confirmed for sure, but my birthmother’s maiden name may have been Brasheer, or Brashear.....not sure of correct spelling. I have always thought about & wanted to meet my birth parents and possible siblings through the years but I didn’t have any favorable results in searching for them back in 2000-2001. I was stirred up again to start searching after I had a massive heartache last year at the very young age of 53. I have also been encouraged by many friends and family, that the current procedures, policies, resources, etc., to locate birthparents, has changed drastically since my initial search back in 2000. I have even had friends find their birthparents through social media, not paying crazy fees anymore. I would be so grateful for any assistance that your organization could help me with in finding my birthparents and or siblings. Thank you so much and have a Blessed Day!
