I am searching for family members of my birth parents. My mother’s name was Rosanne Durler. I believe my father’s name was Burl Dyer. I know my mother is deceased and I believe my father is as well. I had a brother, Dennis Durler, who is also deceased. I am not sure if Dennis and I had the same father. I was born at St. James hospital in Chicago, IL. The doctor was Dr. Grimes. That hospital handled births for St. Vincent’s Orphanage. My adoption was handled by Catholic Charities. I was born June 21, 1957. My birth name was Kim Susan. I recently discovered I have a half sister who was born in 1964. Rosanne was our mother but DNA tests have shown we have different fathers. Rosanne placed us for adoption but kept Dennis. She raised him with her parents, Paul and Marie Durler.
