My mother, Madelyn Baumeister, found out that she was adopted when she was 50 years old, when her adoptive parents had passed away. She suffered greatly because of this. I have joined several genealogy websites, but am only getting very distant relations. I would like to ask her birth family if they would like to get to know us.
