My mother was adopted out of Cook county Illinois in the Chicago area on or around May 4‚1965. It would’ve been a private adoption her adoptive parents never gave her any information on her birth mother other than that she had been on bed rest most of the pregnancy and had had really bad asthma and were told she was around the age of 19 but that was never confirmed. Her adoptive parents‚ my grandparents didn’t want her to look for her birth mother they had expressed that very well. However‚ when they passed we found records from my mothers adoptive brothers adoption and absolutely nothing to do with my mothers which we found odd they’ve both passed away now and I would really like for my mother to be able to connect with any of her birth family members that are interested in meeting her. We recently lost my baby brother and she’s had a very difficult time with the grief and unexpected loss of her youngest child. She is interested in meeting or at least being able to recover information for her birth parents or family members just to be able to know a little bit of family history.
