I was born at Presbyterian St Luke hospital (1973) in Chicago Illinois cook county. I was told I was taken immediately after the birth so I don’t know if my birth mother ever saw me. My adoptive parents do not know who my birth mother is. They went through a agency. I was told my birth mother knew she was going to put me up for adoption because she had family issues. So none of the parties knew each other. Not sure of the agency. I was told my birth mother had to take care of her mother who had cancer and was not able to take care of me at the time, and my birth father and his family did not want the responsibility either. That’s all I know.
